1. PRE-QUALIFICATION

  1. Meet with your loan originator to apply for a loan and review credit standing.
  2. Discuss purchasing goals and budget.
  3. Issue a pre-qualification letter.

2. FIND A HOME

  1. Work independently or with a recommended Realtor® to find your new home.
  2. Execute a purchase contract and schedule home inspections.
  3. Loan estimate outlining approximate monthly payments and closing costs is reviewed.

3. LOAN PROCESSING

  1. Additional documentation requested.
  2. Appraisal ordered.
  3. Title Work ordered.
  4. Home insurance chosen.

4. UNDERWRITING

  1. Final file review.
  2. Additional information may be needed.
  3. All mortgage guidelines met.

5. APPROVAL

  1. Final clear to close issued by underwriter.
  2. Schedule closing with all contract parties.
  3. Closing documents prepared and closing disclosure is reviewed- at least 3 days prior to closing.

6. CLOSING

  1. Bring valid ID and funds needed to close.
  2. Get keys and celebrate!
